No one is above failure

I pray for you that you don’t fail and that your integrity doesn’t come into question. But, I also pray that when you fail, you admit it, pick yourself up and move on because sometimes, no man is above failure.

We’re all failures in one thing but masters in another.

May we find grace to succeed in life. 🙏

A Prayer in this time of global distress 🙏🏾

May the Lord answer us in this time of global distress;

May the name of the God of Jacob protect us.

May He send us help from the sanctuary and grant us support from Zion.

May His banner of love cover us and keep us safe from every plague.

May He remember all our sacrifices
and accept our burnt offerings.

May He give us the desires of our heart and make all our collective efforts succeed.

Surely, we will shout for joy and offer praise when we are victorious, and will lift up our banners in the name of our God!

May the Lord grant all our humble requests in our time of distress.

AMEN and AMEN!!!!

Positive declarations and prayer

Today, I feel led to speak LIFE over you:
I command every dead thing in your life to come back to life.
May your business, finances, marriage, relationship, education, etc witness a glorious facelift.
I declare that your joy is returning and out of your belly shall flow springs of living waters.
I see God writing your story anew and I see the windows of heaven open over you.
You shall not die before your time but you shall live to be celebrated.
I silence every voice of accusation against you.
You are delivered from the grave!
The hand of the devil is lifted off your business, marriage, family, children, etc!
From today onwards, your destiny is secured and God’s pillar of fire is separating your camp and that of your enemies.
No evil shall befall you and no plague shall come near your dwelling.
You are blessed, an oak of righteousness, a planting of the Lord.
Many shall come to enjoy your fruits, to drink of your waters.
You are victorious in life and nothing can change that;
For He that has promised is faithful and He shall perform it!!!
Amen and Amen!!

It’s a prayer to be claimed…so if you believe it, shout a big AMEN to receive it.

Pray

I came to believe in prayer…

Not because a pastor told me…

But because I grew up seeing my mama many times on her knees…

And I remember the many times when her bed was my hospital…

I needed no other evidence…just to know there is power in prayer!!

Thank You Mama!!

I thought of you today…you are dearly missed.

Don’t wait until marriage…

A man doesn’t have to wait until he marries before taking on the role of spiritual headship of his love relationship.

It is easier to lead the woman you plan on marrying in the right spiritual direction and get her to respect your spiritual headship when she sees that in you or see you exercising that role way before the marriage covenant is even entered into. And it may be more easier to sustain it way into marriage when you’ve cultivated it early in the relationship.

Yes, be romantic towards her; but be all the more spiritual towards her.

Women need leading; if you fail to lead her, she will lead you. Just don’t resent it when she eventually takes over your roles and you begin to feel (spiritually) irrelevant.

Many men are in serious love relationships but don’t command prayer times together for the relationship, they don’t command fastings, they don’t command Bible study and devotions; they don’t even pray themselves for the relationship! Yet, they want the best out of the relationship, they want everything to just go smoothly, they want spiritual and character compatibility or synchronization?

Well…maybe things do fall in place effortlessly for some people.

Complaints

Complains should not take the place of prayer in your marriage and love relationship. Learn to call God into every situation.

Pray about everything…including sex.

Many couples don’t get it when you say pray about sex. They are like…how? They never ask why because I believe they already know all the reasons why they ought to. I bet they just don’t know how to go about the prayers. Lol

Well, God already knows what you want when it comes to sex…so pray that! It can feel like a weird or awkward thing to do, I know, especially when praying together…but if it helps, you can think about it as fun. Lol

Be a praying spouse! A lot in marriage and relationships depend on it. Marital success is not always about what you know, “for by strength shall no man prevail” (1 Samuel 2:9).

Pray, then Decide and Act

There are some things that God will not come down from Heaven to solve for us, no matter how much we pray or cry foul about Him not changing our situations. He’s left those things in the freewill He gave man and until you sit down, evaluate, decide and act, nothing will change. The best He will do for you is to give you wisdom in knowing what and what not to do about the situation.

Bad things happen to good people. Terrible things happen to committed Christians…God allows it all. If you think you are a good Christian and so only good things should come your way, you will continue to have issues with God. It’s just natural order! And whether you give up on God or not will not change who God is or stop bad things from happening to good people. Pray all you can, but after praying you will still have to act! And the more you delay a decision that will free your life and give you the peace you need, the more weightier the burden gets.

The decisions we fail to make today, the changes we fail to make today, we will make tomorrow or years later. What you don’t deal with today, you will deal with tomorrow. That’s not to say make rash or irrational decisions but what’s true is that there is a connection between decision-making and destiny; though both are two different things. Poor decisions can affect your destiny big time…and you don’t blame God for it! Though He’s well able to change and re-orient destinies, you may have suffered some things for your bad decisions which may not change. Even after the situation changes, those scars will remain to remind you of your bad decisions or the decisions you refused to make.

When it comes to marriage too, God has stopped putting men to sleep and forming their partners from their ribs. There is a lot of freewill and decision-making involved in choosing a marriage partner. God will only be there to guide you to the right partner and to bless your union.

Sometimes I am tempted to believe that even when you choose a wrong partner and bring him/her to God to be solemnized in marriage, God will still “bless” that union. But as to whether things will work out well in the end between you two depends on you. That is how important choice and decision is! That’s why not everybody God brings your way that looks good and sexy that you should make a wife/husband out of. But when you do, He will still “bless” it anyways, I guess. The best He will do when you want to settle with the wrong person He doesn’t approve of is to bring into the relationship as many red flags as there are for you to see them and make the right decision. But again, sometimes that is even when we begin to get unhappy with God for bringing too many problems in our relationships and not making it to work according to our will.

Marriage decisions are very important; it can make or unmake a person’s destiny. And it is all the more important because God is not a fan of divorce. God is still in the marriage miracle business. He’s still in the match-making business. He’s still leading people to right partners and He’s still bringing right partners people’s way. But He’s not making decisions for them; He’s letting them make their own decisions! And whether you make the right decision or not, His promise of never forsaking you and being with you till the very end of the age (or that situation you committed yourself to) still holds.

May we find grace to make the right decisions always! And as we do, may we find grace to not lean on our own understanding but seek wholehearted guidance from God.

New month!

How Thou didst commend Thy love
When Thou didst whisper in my ears
“I am thine and thou art Mine.”
Kind were those accents
When Thou saidst,
“The Father Himself loveth you.”
And sweet the moments, passing sweet
When Thou declaredst to me
The love of the Spirit.
Never shall my soul forget
Those chambers of fellowship
Where Thou has unveiled Thyself to me.
SO I PRAY TODAY:
Precious Lord Jesus,
Give me a fresh draught
Of Thy wondrous love
To begin this month with.
And let Thy love be shed abroad
In every heart that’s willing to receive.
